Itinerary
DAY 1: CITY TOUR
Duration: 1:30 pm to 6:30pm
This fabulous half day tour takes you around all the most important sites of Cusco. Including visits to the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha) and the various Inca sites found outside of the city you get to see an incredible mixture of Inca and Spanish-style and in the case of Qoricancha, the two combined. Cusco is truly a fascinating place to visit; providing a blend of the two cultures (Inca and Spanish) the city has a look and feel about it that is completely different to the rest of Peru. This tour is a must-do when visiting Cusco and is usually one of the first ports of call for all visiting tourists.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY
Duration: 8:00 am to 6:30 pm
The Sacred Valley tour is one of the most popular tours in the region. The Sacred Valley of the Incas was a crucial area for the Inca Empire and it functioned as both an agricultural, spiritual and political center for them. Throughout its length there are many Inca and Pre-Inca sites that can be found and the Sacred Valley tour visits the 2 main sites, Pisac and Ollantaytambo. Lasting a full day you will get to appreciate the fine works of craftmanship that the Incas produced and see the beautiful scenery of the Sacred Valley. Many tourists opt to do this tour just before their visit to Machu Picchu as you can choose to finish in Ollantaytambo from where you take the train on to Aguas Calientes (the town at the base of Machu Picchu).

DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU
Duration: 4:00 am – 8:00 pm
Leaving from Cusco very early in the morning we will travel by bus (2 hours) to the village of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley where we will board our train to Aguas Calientes. With beautiful scenery throughout the journey the train journey itself is an experience. Following the course of the river down the Sacred Valley you will arrive to Aguas Calientes and head straight up to Machu Picchu for your guided tour. The tour lasts for about 2 hours during which you’ll learn about the Incas and visit all the most important areas of the citadel.
After your tour you will have free time to explore the site by yourself. There are various areas that are not included in the tour such as the Inca bridge, you can ask your guide for suggestions. Later in the afternoon you take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes where you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo (aprox. 2 hours) and then carry on by bus to Cusco.
DAY 4: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN + RED VALLEY
Duration: 4:00 am – 5:00 pm
- We will pick you up between 04:00 hrs. – 04:30 hrs. Then we are going to set out on a drive through the South Valley. The drive takes around 2 hours to get Cusipata community where we are going to stop for breakfast. After that we are going to drive you 1 hour more to the final of the road, where we are going to start with the trekking of 1.30 hours approx. long to the rainbow mountain (most of the way is going up). In the way up we are going to be able to enjoy amazing landscapes of herds of alpacas and llamas, the Ausangate Mountain and traditional local houses.
- When we finally reach our trek the Rainbow Mountains (5,020 m / 16,466 ft.), you will have time to explore the area and take pictures. We will spend approximately 30 minutes.
- After the amazing view of the landscapes on the top we are going to down to the Red Valley where you can see large and spectacular red mountains and also many llamas and alpacas and you will be amazed by nature, that take 2:30 hours approx. (Cusipata community) where we are going to have lunch. Then you are going to be drive to Cusco, arriving at 17:00 hours
DAY 5: QUADBIKE MARAS AND MORAY
Duration: 7:00 to 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 to 6:30 p.m.
- We will start our adventure, pick up at your hotel, you will live an incredible experience on 4 wheels, with departures by own transport, about 45 minutes from Cusco to the community of Cruspata in the heart of the sacred valley of the Incas.
- There are a few minutes of training we will be ready to have an unforgettable experience.
- We start with the passion for adventure on an unpaved road, it is time to powder, we venture along to the Terraces of Moray, an Inca center of agricultural experimentation. Then we head to the village of Maras from where you can appreciate the Urubamba mountain range and the snow-capped Verónoka and Chicon.
- We descend to the salt mines known as Salineras, where we Will appreciate many salt poses since Incas times. Then we Will go back by another route.
