Choquequirao Trek 4 Days / 3 Nights

DAY 1: CUSCO-CACHORA-CHIQUISQA

We leave from Cusco at 6:00 in private touristic bus until Cachora (3100 m.s.n.m) at approximately 10:00. From there we will start the trekking on a gentle path, on the way we will appreciate the snowy Pedrayoc (5482 m.a.s.l) and Wayna Cachora, where we will enjoy the delicious lunch, continuing our trip we will have a short break in the place called Capuliyoc (2900 m.a.s.l) from where we will have a panoramic view of the Apurimac valley, then descend and appreciate the beauty of the warm valley landscape until Chiquisqa (1930 m.a.s.l.) here we will have our first camping.

DAY 2: CHIQUISQA-PLAYA ROSALINA-SUNCHUPATA

After breakfast we will continue our walk towards Rosalina beach (1550 m.a.s.l), then we will go up the hill towards Santa Rosa (2100 m.a.s.l.), where we will have lunch, in this trip we will be able to appreciate variety of orquideas and birds native with very colorful plumage, then we will go up to Maranpata which is a native community, with unique traditions (2850 m.a.s.l). A slight slope, during this tour you will be able to enjoy the panoramic view of all the way of the whole day and the own vegetation of the place, then we will pass for a straight stretch towards Sunchupata, where you can find beautiful flowers, here we will have our dinner.

DAY 3: SUNCHUPATA-CHOQUEQUIRAO-CHIQUISQA

After breakfast we will go to the Inca city of Choquequirao, where we will appreciate the sunrise, and then we will have a guided tour of the entire Inka city, always accompanied by a guide explaining about this important Inka refuge and the importance of the Apurimac rivers and Rio Blanco, in addition we will be able to enjoy the view of the mountain range of Vilcabamba, after the guided tour we will begin our return to Sunchupata and Santa Rosa, soon to descend to Rosalina beach, then we will go to Chiquisqa, where it will be in camping and dinner.

DAY 4: CHIQUISQA-CAPULIYOC-CACHORA

After a delicious breakfast we will return by the same road until reaching the crossing of Capuliyoc and from here we will take another two hours to arrive the town of Cachora, this is a much lighter section and we are arriving at approximately 12 hours, on the way you will enjoy the sight of flora and fauna as well as breathtaking views of the mountains and the breathtaking views of the mountains and the impressive Cañon de Apurimac and the Village of Cachora where we will have our last lunch. Then we will continue our journey to the city of Cusco.
