Rainbow Mountain - Palcoyo Full Day

If you do not like to take 6 hour walks to go back to the classic mountain of 7 colors, this is your best option, not only because you do not walk much, but because you will see more than 3 7 Color Mountains, walking only from 30 to 45 minutes. Another advantage of this attraction is that few people visit it, it is not crowded like in the 7 Colors Classic Mountain, this place is called Palcoyo Mountains of the 7 Colors. It also has a plus, which are the great views of the Andean mountain range and the snowy Ausangate as well as a forest of stones formed by the effect of nature for thousands of years. Being short the walk, in comparison of the classic mountain, in this place there are no horses to be rented.

ITINERARY.

The pick-up time will be between 07:00 in the morning (we suggest you acclimatize at least one day in the city of Cusco before starting this tour) once together with the whole group we will go to the south of Cusco for approximately 2h30m , until arriving at the district of Combapata, before arriving at the town, we will make a stop to enjoy the photos of the attractive colonial bridge of Combapata (it can be to the return), later and for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes towards the left margin of the river Salka , on an unpaved road, we will continue our journey, in this section we will see alpacas in beautiful mountain landscapes, finally we will reach the community of Palccoyo, located at 4100 meters, from this point we will have privileged views of the colorful mountain range of Palccoyo, with its Three mountains of visible colors, so we will also enjoy the view of the Stone Forest. This is an excellent option for people who can not make long walks, our guide will give you the option of a 40-minute walk to reach the highest parts to better see the three colored mountains and the stone forest. Then we will have free time to enjoy this incredible landscape, later we will return to Cusco in our van for the same stretch to the city of Cusco, arriving between 18:00 hours.
