Waqrapukara Tour Full Day

• The excursion starts when we pick you up in your hotel at 3:30 – 4:00am. After this, we start our trip to the south of Cusco, after two hours of travel, we will arrive to Pitumarca where we will have a delicious breakfast. Then we will continue our trip for about 30 minutes more till the end of the path.
• At this point, we are going to start our trekking with ups and downs for the first two hours, the landscape is really beautiful as high Andean lakes where the descent begins until Waqrapukara viewpoint; you will have the opportunity to take really excellent pictures of the archaeological site.
• The descent lasts approximately 40 minutes until you reach the ceremonial center. As we approach, we will observe gigantic rock formations that give depth to the valley of the Apurimac River. We will have a guided tour of the archaeological site for about 1.30 hours, then we will have free time to take pictures.
• After this, we will start our trip back to Cusco which will start  walking up for about 1.30 hours until we arrive to the Waqrapukara viewpoint and 2 hours more walking until arriving to the trekking start point. Here our private transportation will wait for us for coming back to Cusco – arriving time at 18:00.
