Itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT CUSCO – INCA MUSEUM AND QORIKANCHA
Shuttle from the airport to hotel. The rest of the morning will be reserved for resting to adapt to the altitude, approximately 3400 meters (11,000 feet).
In the afternoon we will visit the Inka Museum, home of thousands of years of Andean culture. Here we will become more familiar with the origens and beginnings of Andean civilizations. Continuing with the tour we will move onto the temple of Koricancha, the famous Sun Temple of Qosqo, that was and still remains the pinaccle of organization, architecture, and religion of Inka civilization. During its construction they had already achieved the greatest advances of their time, and this temple may have been the exact representation of the center, or “Navel of the World” and therefore the center of the world, as dictated by the pre-hispanic Andean cosmovision.

DAY 2: SAQSAYHUAMAN – TAMBOMACHAY – QUENCO-PUCA PUCARA- TRANSFER TO AGUAS CALIENTES
- We will visit Sacsayhuaman, considered a jewel of Inca architecture with its magnificent and huge stone walls.
- We will continue with the visit to Quenco and Puca Pucara.
- Very close to this place is Tambomachay, a place where the water was worshiped and which also functioned as the baths of the Ñusta.
- In the afternoon, we will arrive to Ollantaytambo to take our train to Aguas Calientes.
- We will have the possibility to visit and enjoy the hot springs of the place.

DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU
- Today is the most important day since we will visit the citadel of Machu Picchu.
- We will take the bus Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu
- Being inside the Historical Santuary, we will get the best views of the entire landscape.
- The tour will take an approximate of 2 hours of guided, to which you can have extra time to visit it on your own.
- The hike to Huayna Picchu will take you a round trip of 02 hours (optional), in the same way it happens with Machu Picchu Mountain.
- We will return to Aguas Calientes by bus after the tour.

DAY 4: AGUAS CALIENTES – OLLANTAYTAMBO – MORAY – SALINERAS – CHINCHERO.
- In the morning, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo.
- Then we will go to the ruins of Ollantaytambo.
- We will continue the visit to Moray is considered an agricultural research center, where the Incas cultivated products of different altitudinal floors.
- Later we will visit the Salt mines of Maras which has more than 3000 pools or salt mines, which are filled with water that filters from the subsoil.
- We will have the last visit to the town of Chinchero.

DAY 5: FREE TOUR ON FOOT
On this tour you will visit the following places:
- Plaza de Armas.
- Plaza Nazarenas.
- San Blas neighborhood.
- The stone of the 12 angles.
- Traditional market of San Pedro.
DAY 6: TOUR IN LOS UROS ISLAND AND TAQUILE
THE FLOATING ISLANDS OF UROS.
- The staff will pick you up at the terminal and transfer you to the JUMBO house.
- Then we will go to the dock or main port.
- At 07:45 am we will begin the tour aboard a boat.
- During the trip, we can appreciate a beautiful panoramic view and enjoy the landscape.
- Our first stop will be on the Uros Floating Island.
- The people of Los Uros still keep their culture and tradition alive, as well as artisanal fishing, especially the CARACHI and the silverside.
- There are 75 islands that are inhabited today and each island is well organized.
- After a long and beautiful visit, we will say goodbye to the Uros.
- Our next visit will be the natural island of TAQUILE.
THE NATURAL ISLAND OF TAQUILE.
We will sail by boat for 02 hours and a half, towards the natural and beautiful TAQUILE Island.
- During navigation, you will see the Cordillera Real.
- The visit will last an average of 2 hours, and we will have 01 hour to taste a delicious typical lunch.
- You can buy some of their crafts.
- Finally we will return to the Puno city, arriving at approximately 05:00 p.m.

Useful Information
USEFUL INFORMATION
- We recommend that you take a lunch or a good snack with you to Machu Picchu
- If you are in the rainy season, ask your guide.
- Machu Picchu area is humid and hot in the afternoons (when it is not raining)
- Bring enough drinking water and / or a rehydrator since inside Machu Picchu the prices are very expensive
- You are allowed to take a bottle of water and snacks at the ruins of Machu Picchu
- The day rucksack should be only small, large backpacks are not allowed in Machu Picchu
- For the hike to the Rainbow Mountain, bring some snack.
- Bring extra money in soles if you need to rent a horse to get to Rainbow Mountain
