Qeswachaka Tour Full Day

Description:

• This Inca bridge is the only one that still exists, it is located 3 hours from Cusco city by car, it is south of Cusco in the province of Canas. This bridge symbolizes the union of the Inca peoples, you will also visit the four mysterious lagoons that are connected to each other. When we reach an Inca bridge we can go back and forth.
• Q’eswachaka is the last Inca bridge in use also part of the extensive network of roads or Qapac Ñan recognized as “World Cultural Heritage” by UNESCO, it is the only Inca bridge that has survived over generations by more than 500 years.

Itinerary:

• The trip begins in the city of Cusco, with the pick-up from your hotel at 05:00 a.m. Address with respect to the city of Cusco, by asphalted road from Cusco – Sicuani. After 2 and a half hours of travel, you will arrive at the largest lagoon of the four lagoons, the lagoon of Pomacanchi, where we will have the explanation for the guide on the formation and its legends. Then we will continue by car to the lagoon of Acopia, Asnaqocha and Pampamarca, where we can observe Andean birds and migrating birds.
• After Lunch continue to the Qeswachaca bridge in mobility passing through Yanaoca capital of the province of Canas, reaching 30 minutes to the mysterious Inca bridge of Qeswachaca, where we will have the explanation for the guide and the challenge of passing the Inca bridge of Qeswachaca ( built of a plant and called “Ccoya” similar to Ichu is braided to make like a rope). Then return to the city of Cusco at 5:00 p.m.
