Itinerary
Our half day bird trip starts with the pick up in your hotel to then move straight to Huacarpay Lake “Site Ramsar Lucre-Huacarpay” This lake gives us an excellent opportunity to observe more than 100 species of endemic birds, such as Bearded Mountaineer (Oreonympha nobilis), Rusty-fronted Canastero (Asthenes ottonis) and Chestnut-breasted Mountain Finch (Poospiza caesar). Many-colored Rush-Tyrant and Wren-like Rushbird.
There is another number of migratory, seasonal and occasional birds that from Australia, the northern United States, and other areas, that hatch their eggs.
