DESCRIPTION 

Enjoy our 15 day package in Peru; here you will get to know the best tourist places of our country. The first day we will visit Ica City  and its surroundings as The Central Plaza, The Huacachina Oasis, where you can do adventure activities like the Dune Buggy and Sand board; the second day you will do Nazca Lines Flight, the next day you will visit the Ballestas Islands and Paracas National Reserve, with a large amount of marine wildlife. Then you travel to Cusco city where you will visit the city on a half day tour, the next day you will make a full day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the third day in Cusco will be for enjoying a beautiful day visiting Maras and Moray on a half day tour then our transportation will take you to the Ollantaytambo where you will overnight for taking the train to Machu Picchu next day early in the morning and visiting one of The Seven Wonders of the World  “Machu Picchu”, see of the mountain of “Vinincunca” ( Rainbow Mountain) and the Red Valley, then you will visit  the Humantay Lagoon that is located near to the highest mountain of Cusco  “Salkantay”. Then you start your trip to Puno doing the Sun´s Route, the next day you enjoy the Floating Island of Los Uros, Taquile; and finally the Amantaní Island.

ICA

DAY 1: CITY TOUR – HUACACHINA OASIS- ICA

We will wait for you at the Lima’s airport, then we make a short trip to Ica and transfer you to your hotel.

13:00 ICA’S CITY TOUR

In this half day tour you will visit Ica City and its surroundings, Luren’s Church and its mall, then we will continue to visit the artisanal wine cellar where you will learn about the process of making Pisco our traditional drink; and also taste it. Finally, we will take you to see the olny one Oasis of America: Huacachina; which is surrounded by big Dunes and many palms, here you will have free time to enjoy the landscape and also do shopping.

16:00 ADVENTURE TOUR: DUNE BUGGY+ SANDBOARDING IN HUACACHINA

Enjoy the most amazing thrill ride in one of the most spectacular deserts of Peruvian’s coast line. Here you are going to ride in a dune buggy, up and down the dunes at fast speeds, driven by a professional driver. After this you will try the adventure sport of sand boarding that consists in boarding on the fine-grained sand of the desert. By the end, you will enjoy the sunset and have a panoramic view of Huacachina Oasis.

DAY 2: NAZCA LINES FLIGTH

Early in the morning at 08:30 a.m, our staff will go to your hotel and transfer you to Nazca (this short trip will take approximately 2.15 hours)

10:30 a.m. once we get to Nazca, we are going to transfer to the Airdromo of Maria Reiche where you could do the Overflight in a shared 6 passenger plane for an average of 30 minutes. During the overflight you will appreciate the enigmatic figures such as a condor, monkey, hummingbird, etc.

DAY 3:  PARACAS FULL DAY TOUR

BALLESTAS ISLANDS + PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE TOUR

6:30-7:00 Transfer from Ica to Paracas

8:00 a.m. BALLESTAS ISLANDS TOUR

In this tour you will board a speedboat to visit the Ballestas Islands which are a group of rocky islands, this islands are a must-see for all wildlife lovers because they are home for a large amount of species of marine wildlife including penguins, sea lions, Inca terns, pelicans and dolphins. Also, you’ll have the chance to take photos to the Candelabro while the guide explains you the different theories of how this enigmatic figure was created.

10:00 a.m. Free time for visiting the Boulevard of Paracas

After this you will come back to Lima’s airport in a private vehicle.

You will arrive to Cusco at night, where we will greet you and transfer you to your hotel.

CUSCO

DAY 4:  CITY TOUR

13:45 we will start our half day tour

This fabulous tour consists in visiting the most important places around Cusco’s city like Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara anda Tambomachay. The city of Cusco is a fascinating place to visit, it’s a mix culture of Spanish and Incas; it has a unique mysticism aspect and sets apart from the other cities of Peru.

After visiting we will be back in Cusco city at 18:00 hours

DAY 5: SACRED VALLEY FULL DAY

Between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. we are going to pick you up at your hotel.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is something crucial for the Inca Empire, it functioned like an agricultural, spiritual and politic center; this tour includes three big archaeological places: Pisac, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero

You will have buffet lunch in Urubamba that is in the best turistic restaurant, after this you will visit Ollantaytambo and finally Chinchero.

After visiting we will be back in Cusco city at 18:30 hours.

DAY 6: MARAS MORAY – AGUAS CALIENTES  

Our tour starts when we pick you up from your hotel, then we will go to Chinchero where we are going to visit the textile center and learn about the Inca Textil, then we continue to the Inca Site of Moray, a magnificent series of circles of terraces on the ground that were used by the Incas for experimentation with crops.

Our final destination is the salt mines that have been in use since pre Inca times, there will appreciate thousands of white pools that extend through the valley with really impressive views.

From here we will continue on our trip to Ollantaytambo, we will make a stop before in Urubamba for our lunch. Finally in Ollantaytambo we will depart by train to Aguas Calientes.

Once you get to Aguas Calientes, our staff will be waiting for you in the train station and transfer you to your hotel.

You will have a short briefing in your hotel between 19:30 and 20:00 (reunion with your Machu Picchu´s tour guide)

DAY 7: MACHU PICCHU TOUR

Even though you are going to visit many beautiful places in your whole tour, this day will be the most amazing one because you will visit one of the last Seven Wonders of the World “Machu Picchu”, for this you are going to take the bus early in the morning to get to Machu Picchu’s archaeological site.

The tour lengths about 2 hours with the professional guide that will explain you about this amazing place, after this you will have extra time to walk around by your own and take pictures.

The walking time to get to the top of Huayna Picchu´s Mountain, lasts 2 hours for round trip. (This is not included in the tour)

Once the tour is over, you will come back to Aguas Calientes and spent one more night there.

DAY 8: AGUAS CALIENTES – CUSCO

After having breakfast in your hotel, we will go to the train station and take the train to Ollantaytambo where our staff will be waiting for you and transfer you to Cusco.

Then you will have free time all the afternoon and take a walk in the historical center of Cusco or maybe visit the typical market of San Pedro and others.

DAY 9: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN + RED VALLEY TOUR

4:30 a.m.  We are going to pick you up at this time from your hotel, then we are going to make a 2 hours trip to Cusipata, here you will have a delicious breakfast and then continue on our trip till the end of the path.

At this point, we are going to start the trekking that lasts about 1.5 hours to get to see the Rainbow Mountain (if you consider that it would be hard, you can do horse ride paying for this service), in the top you will appreciate also Ausangate´s Mountain. After this, we are going to start the Red Valley tour walking down about 2.5 hours, in the way you will have a very beautiful natural scene with camelish (lamas and alpacas), once we get to the small town of Cusipata, you are going to have buffet lunch, and we’ll be returning to Cusco at 17:00 hours.

DAY 10: HUMANTAY LAKE TOUR

4:30 a.m. We are going to pick you up at this time from your hotel, then we are going to make a 2 hours trip to Mollepata, here you will have a delicious breakfast and then continue on our trip for one hour more.

At this point, we are going to start the trekking that lasts about 1.5 hours to get to see the Humantay Lake, this lake is located near the highest mountain of Cusco  Salkantay, after coming back to the trekking point, we will have buffet lunch enjoying the natural scene.

After finishing our lunch, we will come back to Cusco, arriving at 17:30 hours.

DAY 11: CUSCO – PUNO: THE SUN´S ROUTE

Early in the morning, at 06:15 a.m. We will pick you at your hotel to start our trip. While doing this trip, we will visit different places as Andahuaylillas  here is located San Pedro Apostol´s Church, also called as the “Sistine Chapel of the Andes”; then Racchi´s church which was built for Wiracocha during the Inca´s Empire; continuing with the tour we will arrive to Sicuani where we will have lunch before visiting the next place: La Raya  the highest point of our tour, this is the limit between Cusco and Puno. And finally our last parade in Pukara  a small town of potters.

Our trip will end approximately at 17:00 hours arriving to Puno.

PUNO

DAY 12: CHULLPAS OF SILLUSTANI HALF DAY TOUR

Pick up time 14:00 hours

On our private vehicle we are going to transfer you to the Chullpas of Sillustani.

This beautiful place is an altiplanic plateau, it is located about 30 kilometers to the North of Puno, one of the largest necropolises in the world. Surrounded by a landscape of striking beauty, which seems to be summerized in the serene of the Umayo Lagoon, the archaeological complex stands out for its gigatinc “Chullpas” like stone towers, built by Collas and Incas, to their dead. Many of them exceed 12 meters in height and have a larger diameter in the upper part than in then base. A challenge to the laws of gravity and balance. A detail that makes unique in the continent.

DAY 13: UROS AMANTANI AND TAQUILE 2D/1N

Pick up time: 07:45 hours

MAIN PORT  – THE FLOATING ISLANDS OF UROS

First, we are going to visit The Floating Islands of Uros, here you will have to recognize each island and how they were built upon the highest lake of the world; also, our professional guide will explain you about the importance of these islands.

AMANTANI ISLAND (OVERNIGHT IN THE LODGE)

To get to this point, it will take about 3 hours of navigation trough the lake. Approximately during the first 9 km of the trip, you will have the chance to see a great natural scene as well as the Andes Mountains. In the Amantani’s port, the president of the community will greet us; after this, a special family will host us (accomodation, food, company). In the afternoon, you will have the chance to walk to one of the sacred mountains known as Pacha Tata; this short walk will be coordinated with our tour guide. Amantani is also known for its friendly people and for its representative and native flower: The Cantuta. There are 8 small communities that are dedicated to growth the ground in terraces, the raising of ewes and the handmade elaboration of textiles and carved in stone. At night, you will spent the night in a lodging house, where you will have the opportunity to share their customs and traditions with the people who live in this islands.

DAY 14: AMANTANI – TAQUILE 

After having a delicious typical breakfast we will visit another island  Taquile, the trip will take around one hour and you will have the last chance to know and share with its people who are characterized by being collaborative and well organized. This is the reason why they showed a high degree of progress with textiles, winning a recognition granted by UNESCO. It should be noted that spinning and weaving are mainly done by men, starting at the age of eight. Women do exclusively yarns and fabrics. The lifestyle is still without modern changes. Here we are going to enjoy a delicious typical lunch, if you really want to be part of this community, you can buy some of its crafts voluntarily. People of Taquile use this money for living and in that way continue showing their lifestyle to future visitors. Finally, our tour guide will tell you the time of returning to Puno.

DAY 15: TRANSFER PUNO – JULIACA – LIMA

At an appropiate time we will pick you up at your hotel to transfer you to Juliaca, and take the flight to Lima.
